AIC KIJABE NURSERY SCHOOL
As a parent of the school I wish to thank most sincerely friends of the school who have continued to support us in the following ways:
- Provision of schools uniforms to our children has gone a long way to give the school identity as the children can be easily identified.
- Funding for the porridge program, which our children take at break time, has made learning bearable as the children are energized.
- Improvement and beautification of the classrooms has greatly improved in school infrastructure.
- Payment of staff salaries has ensured the teachers are well motivated to work and the children from disadvantaged backgrounds are able to access quality education.
- We therefore appeal for your continued support and any other assistance you may grant us.

We deeply appreciate the relationship and hope it will grow.
The benefits of the Jim Calfee Africa Project are enormous. We as a preschool cannot explain how we can elaborate the measure of blessing we have received from the JCAP. Starting from when you heard of our case the JCAP has more and more loved to stand and support us fully.
The JCAP team came at a time of emergency and they took us as part of their own lives by listening deeply to the needs we raised to them.
Firstly, the JCAP meant our teachers, Alice and Mary, could continue to teach in a time when they were getting very little or no money from the poor parents which had to be used to maintain the preschool monthly building expenses. But because of the JCAP I can now testify that both teachers have been getting their dues monthly without delay.
Secondly, the preschool had no feeding program and when seeing this the JCAP started a program by buying a propane stove and providing porridge on a daily basis. All the students, teachers, and cooks, are now being feed daily. They send us 5000 shillings a month for food. Moreover, when JCAP visited our school they noticed that the students needed new uniforms, shoes, and sweaters and immediately addressed the issue and made and purchased the clothing needs for all twenty-five students. The students really enjoy their new clothes.
Thirdly, the JCAP has continued to see the need to uplift the infrastructure of the preschool. Both the inside and outside of the classrooms have been repaired and painted. The JCAP noticed that there was no veranda to protect the students when outside so they built one for each classroom and then painted the school roof. The classrooms have been stuffed with teaching supplies and recreation items that are helpful to the teachers. We cannot forget personal gifts for the JCAP like shoes, clothing, Bibles, money and building tools for the school.
Also we cannot forget good relationships between JCAP leaders and preschool leaders. We deeply appreciate the relationship and hope it will grow more and more. All the above has been made right because the Lord Jesus has been in the center of all and we pray that he continues to direct the continuing development of the school.
By creation of this website by JCAP we hope many other people with like hearts might come forth and help us bring even more children into this blessed learning and loving experience.
As the director of the preschool I feel much humbled to lead the school. With the pastoral skills I have can help the preschool to grow spiritually in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
God bless JCAP and all its visions and plans to help enlighten the children not only here in Kijabe but in the whole world.

Very grateful for the changes.
To Our Very Abled Sponsors,
I, Mrs. Mary Kago, take this opportunity to great you all. My students and I are all doing well.
Briefly, I take this opportunity to say that I am very grateful for the changes that we have had since you started to sponsor our learning institution. I am very glad to say that I appreciate the giving of teacher’s salaries. This was a very rare thing. This gave us the time to work with students longer and make the performance of the school improve.
I say thank you to the Almighty for giving you kind and loving heart towards our pupils. Since you also brought the learning materials and food for our break time everyone’s health has improved.
The most and greatest change is that the performance of the students is increasing every day. Your maintenance, including repairing the windows, has brought about a more healthy environment (no kids are freezing).
I would like to conclude by saying that I am glad for the care you have shown us. I am very proud of being a teacher in Kijabe Nursery because we are becoming equal with other learning institutions.
I love you all. May God bless you all.
Yours Faithfully.

The school has become very smart and shines.
Dear Sponsors,
Hello! How are you? I hope you are fine and that you learn from me and all the parents that we are fine also.
We are happy to be writing this letter because you heard the cry from Pastor Alex for poor parents and you supported us parents for helping our children go back to school and supported us for smart uniforms and good porridge for health. Now the school has become very smart and shines.
Another thing is that the trees that were planted make the school a good environment so we appreciate that. We appreciate the Pastor for good management of our school.
I am happy because the Pastor saw how the teachers were so busy teaching that they could not get time to cook porridge so the pastor appointed a parent to cook porridge and clean the compound. He appointed me so I am happy because of that. So may God bless all of you as you continue to support us.
God Bless You All
Yours Faithfully,
Josephine
