Are the volunteers financially compensated through donations made to JCAP.
Does the JPAC team use donations to pay for their travel, room, and board expenses? No – All donations are applied directly to the projects and programs. The volunteers pay their own way.
What is the mission of JCAP?
To promote and conduct programs and projects that improve, clean, and beautify the physical environment of the existing learning institutions and to help in the sustaining of the educational programs as needed.
How can I help?
There are many ways to contribute to the Jim Calfee Africa Project:
- You can come to Africa and build with us!
- You can share ways to improve the projects and programs.
- You can sponsor or co-sponsor a student(s).
- You can sew or donate new or gently used clothing children sizes 3-6
Are any Board Members compensated for their work with JCAP?
No. All donations made to JCAP go directly to the programs and projects.
Is JCAP affiliated with any religious groups or organizations?
JCAP is not affiliated with any particular religious organization or Christian denomination but is actively supported by churches in Arizona, Ohio, Wyoming, and Georgia.
The following churches officially support JCAP. St.Paul’s United Methodist Church in Tucson, Arizona (Pastor- Tony Dawson) and the New Life Community Church in Fayetteville, Ohio (Pastor-David Sherwood)
