THE JCAP TEAM RETURNED IN JANUARY OF 2022
During the months of the world wide COVID crises JCAP continued to serve the people of Kijabe in numerous ways. They funded three building projects and sent financial support to those experiencing emergencies and educational needs such as scholarships.
The three building projects were to:
Build a stronger fence around the school grounds to enhance security and add a sign to the entry.
Add playground equipment to the school.
Build Pastor Alex a house and community meeting center to improve community involvement.
On-going and/or year round activities:
Providing emergency funds to help various groups get through the Covid 19 Virus situation.
One of the JCAP Teams members, Ken Archer, Jr., married one of the teachers at the Kijabe Preschool, Maggie Blasto.
Maasai Projects: JCAP will continue to work with the Maasai tribe near Kijabe to improve the preschool and the economic future for the people through working to enrich the goat herd project and establish a jewelry marketing system for the ladies of tribe.
Many student and townsfolk will receive academic assistance in the form of scholarships. Construction proposals will be submitted and reviewed by the JCAP Board.
Kay Mason and her team will continue to plan and implement academic and fun projects for the kids of Naomi’s Village in coordination with the directors and teachers at the Village.
